Refund policy

At UrbanZip, your satisfaction means everything to me. Since every T-shirt is custom printed on demand just for you, I have designed this policy to be as fair and transparent as possible. Please read it carefully so you know exactly what to expect if something isn't right with your order.
1. Our Commitment to You
I stand behind every product I sell. If something arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect — I will make it right, no questions asked. At the same time, because each item is personally printed to order, I am unable to accept returns simply due to a change of mind. This policy exists to protect both you as a customer and the integrity of a small independent brand.
2. Return Eligibility
We ACCEPT return or replacement requests for:
- Products that arrive damaged or broken
- Products with a significant print defect (faded, smeared, misaligned print)
- Wrong item received (wrong design, wrong color)
- Wrong size sent by us (different from what you ordered)
- Products that arrive with a manufacturing defect
We DO NOT accept returns for:
- Change of mind or ordering the wrong size yourself
- Minor color variations between screen display and actual print
- Slight variations in print placement (within industry-standard tolerance)
- Products that have been worn, washed, or altered
- Orders where an incorrect shipping address was provided by the customer
- Items marked as final sale or promotional items
3. Return Timeframe
- All return or replacement requests must be raised within 7 - 10 days of your delivery date.
- Requests raised after 7 days will unfortunately not be eligible for a return, refund, or exchange.
- We recommend inspecting your order as soon as it arrives so you can contact us promptly if there is an issue.
Recommended value: 7 days for a tight but fair window, or 10 days to give customers more comfort.
4. How to Raise a Return Request
Raising a return request is simple. Just follow these steps:
Step 1 — Email us at varaliraja@gmail.com with the subject line: "Return Request — Order #[YOUR ORDER NUMBER]"
Step 2 — Include the following in your email:
- Your full name and order number
- A clear description of the issue
- At least 2–3 photographs clearly showing the defect or damage
Step 3 — We will review your request and respond within 2 -3 business days
Step 4 — If approved, we will either:
- Send you a free replacement, or
- Process a full refund to your original payment method
Important: Return requests without photographs will not be processed. Photos are essential for us to verify the issue and improve our quality.
5. Refund Process and Timing
Once your return request is approved, here is what happens:

- Refunds are processed back to the same payment method used at the time of purchase.
- We will send you a confirmation email as soon as your refund has been initiated.
- Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the amount in your account — this is beyond our control.
- If you do not receive your refund within 7 - 10 business days, please first check with your bank, then contact us at varaliraja@gmail.com .
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges in the following situations:
Exchange is available for:
- Wrong size sent by us
- Defective or damaged product where you prefer an exchange over a refund
Exchange is NOT available for:
- Ordering the wrong size yourself
- Change of mind or design preference
- Items that have been worn or washed
To request an exchange, follow the same steps outlined in Section 4 above and mention that you prefer an exchange over a refund. Exchanges are subject to design and size availability at the time of the request.
7. Damaged or Defective Products
We take print quality seriously. However, if your product arrives damaged or with a visible defect, here is exactly what to do:
- Do not wash or wear the item — this may void your claim
- Take clear photographs of the damage or defect immediately upon receiving
- Email us at varaliraja@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery for damaged packaging, or within 7 - 10 days for print defects
- Include your order number and photos in the email
- We will arrange a free replacement or full refund — whichever you prefer
We never want you to be stuck with a product you are not happy with. Damaged or defective items are always our responsibility and will always be resolved in your favour.
8. Return Shipping Costs

- For eligible returns, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs upon approval.
- Please do not ship any item back to us without receiving written approval first — unapproved returns will not be processed.
- Return items must be sent in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging where possible.
9. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable under any circumstances:
- Items that have been worn, washed, or altered in any way
- Products returned without prior approval from us
- Items returned after the 7 -10 day return window has passed
- Products purchased during clearance sales or special promotions marked as final sale
- Items damaged due to misuse or improper care by the customer
10. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled only within 12 hours of placing them, provided they have not yet been sent to our print partner for fulfillment.
- To cancel, email us immediately at varaliraja@gmail.com with your order number and the subject line "Cancellation Request — Order #[YOUR ORDER NUMBER]"
- Once an order enters the printing process, it cannot be cancelled as it is being made specifically for you.
- Approved cancellations will receive a full refund within 7 - 10 business days.
